Meditations on Australian Country
A series of small art works
For me, as for the Aboriginal peoples of Australia, 'country' is not simply the place or the land. It is the set of interdependent relationships between the land, plants, animals, people and spirits.

These meditation works emerged intuitively and reflect my experience of country as a fourth generation migrant to Australia who is sensitive to the feeling of place. They are of no specific place, but rather of the interior landscape that is both nowhere and everywhere.
